Bio:Since trekking through the Himalayas over twenty years ago, being fed in ancient villages while immersed in the arts of Yoga and Meditation, Taj has been a committed student of Sanatana Dharma and Indigenous Wisdom. Also guided by the developmental lens of Anthroposophy and Waldorf Education, he teaches youth at Heartsong Living Arts in the Columbia River Gorge and serves as a co-director of Cascadian culture-buliding organizations Ecstatic Heart Brotherhood and Knights of Starfire.Taj is a coach and leading facilitator of Men’s Work, tending to village remembrance, ancestral grief, and spirit-guided human development. He wishes to share the arts that have helped him navigate soul-level initiations that coalesce through the confines of modernity for a greater purpose, often emerging in the magic of somatic connection and devotional song.In addition to his intimate experience in lineages of Yoga, Meditation, and Waldorf Education, his initiatory trainings include Structural Integration bodywork, Indigenous Allyship, Integrative Somatic Trauma Therapy, and Dagara-inspired Grief Tending. He is a grateful beneficiary of many great teachers and mentors, belonging to the Tribe of the Sacred Heart and guided by the internal, eternal Guru. A child of the Cascadia bioregion, Taj honors his Celtic and Métis ancestry, and Salish, Chinook, Klickitat, and Yakama peoples where he resides in White Salmon, WA.
